Park Hotels & Resorts is planning to build a new 36-story tower with 515 rooms as an addition to the Ala Moana Tower Hotel in Honolulu. It is being designed by Group 70 International Inc. PraCon Global Investment Group LLC is planning to build Prado Lofts at Meadowbrook in Jackson. The four-story, 288,673-sq-ft building will contain 215 apartments, multiple clubhouses and a swimming pool with cabanas. It is being designed by Eley Barkley Dale Architects. Z Athlete Factory is planning to develop Z Athlete Village and Training Center in Las Vegas. TENNESSEE

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is planning construction of a new river water intake facility and pump house at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport. The purpose of the proposed action is to enable the facility to meet EPA Rule 316(b) requirements while providing adequate capacity for water intake at full RDX/HMX production capacity. Milwaukee County is planning to construct a new criminal courthouse in Milwaukee. The 10-story, two-tower building will be erected on the site of the existing Safety Building at 821 W. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is planning to build a temple at 2550 W. Harborlight St. in Wichita. Haskell Construction Co. has been selected as the general contractor. Suffolk Construction has started building the Brown University Integrated Life Sciences Building at 233 Richmond St. in Providence. 11/06 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking bidders to carry out the Ice Harbor Intake Gate hydraulic system upgrade project at the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam on the Snake River in Burbank. The project requires the design, fabrication and installation of 18 intake gate hydraulic cylinders, as well as 18 intake gate support beams. Additionally, the project includes designing, fabricating and installing a new hydraulic power unit for the intake gate system as well as installing six new hydraulic control stations, and adding an automated emergency closure function for the intake gates from the control room.
