Product Snapshot: Tier 4 Backhoe and Magnetic Bit Case
The JCB 3CX Backhoe Loader is powered by a JCB Ecomax engine. The machine meets Tier 4 emissions standards, with the 74-hp model meeting Tier 4 Final and the 91-hp and 109-hp models meeting Tier 4 Interim standards. The engine's emissions technology works in-cylinder and does not use a diesel-particulate filter or after-treatment. As the emission's technology is entirely within the new engine, the rest of the backhoe is largely unchanged. The 3CX is able to run on standard engine oils and is compatible with the existing range of JCB loader attachments.

The Hyundai R480LC-9A Excavator is powered by an Interim Tier 4 Cummins engine with 352 net hp. It has a maximum digging depth of 27 ft, nine inches, and a bucket breakout force of 54,950 lbf. A variable-speed fan clutch, two-stage automatic-deceleration system and an economy operating mode save fuel. The redesigned cab features a slimmed-down steel frame and a skylight for greater visibility. Optional excavator features include a rearview camera and a push-button start.

A-1 Series Drills are designed to reduce operator fatigue during dowel-pin drilling applications. Adjustable handles give the user greater control over the drill's position. The A-1 drills are able to drill anywhere from three inches to 12 in. from the top of the slab. The A-1 comes in two models, with cutout widths of 36 in. and 48 in. and drill depths of 10 in. and 18 in., respectively.

DeWalt Compact Tough Cases offer easy access to bits for heavy users of drills and impact drivers. The 3-in. by 4-in. cases hold the bits vertically and feature built-in magnets for easy placement on ducts and other metal surfaces. The cases are available in three versions: a standard assortment of impact-driver screwdriving bits, a set of specialized bits for tamper-proof screws and a set of S2 modified-steel bits for greater durability. All three cases feature belt clips and magnetic bit-tip holders for keeping track of 1-in. bit tips.
