The Kawasaki 70Z7 Wheel Loader is powered by an Interim Tier 4, 173-hp Cummins engine and boasts a maximum full-turn tipping load of 22,800 lb. It has a ZF five-speed transmission and features a Quick Power setting for demanding applications. The Interim Tier 4 engine uses EGR technology and does not require a diesel particulate filter.

The Cat 772G Off-Highway Truck is powered by a Cat C18 engine rated at 550 hp. The truck is available in Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 Final emissions configurations. The engine uses selective catalytic reduction to achieve Tier 4 Final emissions standards. The truck has a nominal payload of 52 tons, with a dump body capacity of 40.8 cu yd. The 772G boasts a top speed of 49.2 mph when fully loaded and is available with an optional traction-control system.

The LN-100 laser scanner works with Topcon's MAGNET software to layout jobsites using BIM drawings. The self-leveling laser can be set up with a single button press and is controlled via a wireless controller. It has a maximum range of 328 ft and can track a prism for greater precision. The laser can work with BIM drawings and can indicate layout points on the jobsite from 3D design documents.

Gomaco has announced that its G+ control system will soon be available on its 9500 Concrete Trimmer-Asphalt Placer. Set to be introduced at CONEXPO/CONAGG 2014, the 9500 has a redesigned operator's console with digital trimmer-load control and rear-steer control. The G+ control system allows the machine to operate on a stringline or with 3D string-less controls. G+ has an entire library of sensor capabilities, allowing it to interact with laser controls, sonic sensors, rotary sensors and slope sensors during operation.
