The Shockwave Thin-Wall Hole Saw is available in sizes ranging from 3/4 in. up to 11/2 in. in dia. According to the manufacturer, the hole saw cuts up to 40% faster than bi-metal hole saws. It is able to cut conduit, ductwork, sheet metal and junction boxes. The hole saw has a 1/4-in. quick-change shank and fits any standard impact driver.

Uponor has expanded its line of commerical PEX plumbing pipe with two new multiport tees. The EP Multiport Tees are designed for commercial installations in which water-supply lines need to be upsized due to changes in pressure and code requirements. Rather than use three tees, the multiport has three separate tees in one connection. It features a 11/4-in. inlet with three 3/4-in. outlets.

The Cat D9T Dozer is powered by a 436-hp Cat Acert engine that meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards. The machine features several improvements over the earlier D9T model, including a durable main frame that has a cast-steel main case as well as a pivot shaft that transfers blade loads directly to the main frame. A new touch screen in the cab provides the operator with performance data. The D9T is available with Caterpillar's Automated Blade Assist function, which allows for blade-pitch positions to be preset for dig, carry and spread actions in the standard lift cycle.

The Hyundai HL780-9A has an operating weight of 66,800 lb and is powered by a 262-hp Interim Tier 4 Cummins engine. The wheel loader boasts a 7.1-cu-yd bucket, with a bucket breakout force of 52,360 lb. The load-sensing hydraulic system features a variable-displacement piston pump and a closed-center main valve, improving hydraulic efficiency and saving power. The loader has a redesigned axle for better handling on uneven ground conditions and self-adjusting brakes that maintain disc clearance. An extended-reach model is available for applications in which a high dump height is needed.
