The Cat 311F LRR Excavator is powered by a 71-hp Cat C3.4B engine and has an operating weight of 15 tons. Designed to work in tight spaces, such as near roadways and other obstacles, the 311F LRR has an over-the-side tail swing of only 20 in. A 2.7-ton counterweight grants it a greater lifting capacity than many other small excavators. The frame has a full-sized ROPS cab to protect the operator.
