Product Snapshot: Safety Glasses and Natural-Gas-Powered Trucks

OSI Quad Max sealant is designed for window, door and siding applications. The sealant is UV-resistant, to reduce the chance of cracking or discoloration. It can cure in 24 hours and be painted after one hour. The sealant is packed in a water-resistant package and has a two-year shelf life. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including vinyl, brick, PVC, stone, coated aluminum, fiberglass, wood and glass.

Freightliner is planning to offer a Cummins Westport ISX12 G heavy-duty, natural-gas engine as a factory-installed option on its 114SD severe-duty truck. The 12-liter engine can be configured to run on either compressed natural gas or liquified natural gas and is available with ratings up to 400 hp and 1,450 lb-ft of torque. Previously, the 114SD truck was only available with a 9-liter natural-gas engine option. The ISX12 G engine with CNG also includes back-of-cab mounted tanks in 60 or 75 diesel-gallon-equivalent configurations.

Gateway's Parallax safety eyewear features a single, wrap-around lens with a built-in brow guard to keep debris out. The frame is designed to reduce pressure behind the wearer's ears, allowing them to be work for longer periods. The Parallax safety glasses meet ANSI Z87+ standards.

SkeleCore Pull-Tight is a framework system for fabric-lined HVAC ductwork. The internal framework keeps textile-based ducts from sagging, wrinkling or creasing. It uses a combination of tensioning baskets and internal hoops to keep the framework in tension. The system allows for segments of up to 40 ft of tensioned fabric ductwork between tensioning baskets and features adjustable diameters to fit the requirements of the HVAC system.
