Product Snapshot: Wall Saw and Slipform Paver

The PC390LC-11 Hydraulic Excavator is powered by a 257-hp Komatsu engine that meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards. The engine uses SCR to meet Tier 4 and has an easily accessible 10.3-gallon DEF tank. It has a wider track gauge than the earlier model and boasts up to 18% greater over-the-side lift capacity than the PC360LC-11. The cab is mounted on viscous isolation dampers that reduce operator vibration levels.

The Gomaco Next Generation Commander III Slipform Paver now meets Tier 4 engine emission standards. The paver's frame and operator's platform have been redesigned to accommodate the new engine and cooling package. The position of the engine has been reversed to improve operator visibility. The pivoting operator's console allows for full control and visibility, regardless of direction of travel, and is fully isolated to reduce vibration. An optional on-board camera can be positioned anywhere around the paver to provide a live view to the operator's console. The cooling system features hydraulic fans that are electronically controlled to match load.

The Makita 5.5-hp Big Bore Air Compressor is able to deliver 12 cu ft per minute of air at 100 psi. It is powered by a gasoline-fueled Honda GX160 four-stroke engine, with automatic idling to reduce overall fuel consumption. Twin 10-gallon tanks can provide air supply to multiple pieces of pneumatic equipment. The air compressor's low overall profile and non-flat tire add to its portability.

The DST 10-CA Wall Saw now features Cut Assist, which can change the saw's speed automatically to cut rebar and other difficult materials. Once the operator has input the length of the cut and the depth of the wall, Cut Assist takes over and performs the cut on its own. The cutting depth and overall progress are visible in real time on the remote-control unit. The wall saw can be used for cutting masonry, stone and reinforced concrete and is small enough to work in tight spaces.
