Spending 15 of his 16 years in the construction industry with Turner Construction, Langsam's career has grown steadily from his start as a cost engineer to his current position as project executive—the youngest Turner executive to hold that position in the mid-Atlantic region. He is accountable for profit and loss of $25 million of annual gross sales revenue. In just three years, he has built a team of 15 members made up of project managers, superintendents and assistant project managers. In two years, he exceeded earning goals through oversight of 43 projects with total sales volume of $42 million. Prior to becoming a project executive, he served as business development manager and sustainability director for Turner's mid-Atlantic office. In his work to forward sustainability, he was selected by the D.C. City Council to serve on a task force that created the 2006 D.C. Green Building Act. Lisa Lingerfelt

After receiving her bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's in building construction from Virginia Tech in 2002, Lingerfelt was hired by DPR as a project engineer. Four years later, she was promoted to project manager. For the last two years, Lingerfelt has been a project executive as well as the manager of DPR's Richmond office. She is also a principal and is currently one of the youngest shareholders in the multibillion-dollar company. Lingerfelt is in charge of creating and managing the DPR Richmond business plan, pursuing new work, overseeing operations, maintaining and creating client relationships, hiring and mentoring people, and risk management. In addition, she recently took on substantial management responsibilities for the D.C. office. Lingerfelt also helps with DPR's global learning group, where she teaches a negotiation class as well as a fee and cash management class. She is also creating a class on gross margin for DPR.
