Every year, each of ENR’s 10 regional editions honors the best of the next generation of construction industry professionals with the Top Young Professionals competition. And for the third year in a row, ENR honors a new class of national winners.
Young leaders assembled for an ENR summit to discuss critical topics including technology, diversity and attracting new talent, while searching for ways they could manifest their ideals in their companies and the industry.
In the Top 20 Under 40 judging process, ENR emphasizes that each class should demonstrate broadly the diversity of the industry: professional, geographical, cultural, racial, market sector and more.
As a younger cohort coming up with expectations about automation, data access and connectivity in their lives, the Top 20 had some pointed thoughts about the industry’s relatively slow adoption of new technology.
