Our annual Top 20 Under 40 is published in the first ENR Midwest edition of the year, but the time to nominate a candidate for 2017 is right now.

This year’s Top 20 Under 40 class demonstrates a wide range of talent and serves such diverse roles as architect, engineer, professor, owner, director, manager, executive and working mother.

With just about every corner of California experiencing intense construction activity and worker shortages, it’s an employee’s market.

Recovery in the Midwest’s construction industry continues to track the national industry’s growth, with 70% of the region’s construction companies expecting to increase staff levels in 2016, according to a survey recently published by Associated General Contractors of America.
