ENR Midwest has announced its 2019 Class of Top Young Professionals. These 20 individuals have built extraordinary industry portfolios, given back to their communities and professions, and have moved design and construction technology forward with their innovative ideas and applications of existing tools.

Five design teams have been picked as finalists for the $8.5-billion revamp of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. They are Fentress-EXP-Brook-Garza Joint Venture Partners; Foster Epstein Moreno JV Joint Venture Partners; Santiago Calatrava LLC; Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill (SOM); and Studio ORD Joint Venture Partners.

A joint venture between Gensler and HDR has been selected to design a new terminal at the Pittsburgh International Airport.

Workers completed substantial construction on D.C. United's $500-million soccer-specific stadium in time for the team to host its first Major League Soccer match on July 14.
