Delays in approvals for a federal low-interest loan will require the Virginia Dept. of Transportation to spend another $9 million on preliminary work for the I-66 toll lanes project. VDOT already was set to loan $30 million to Express Mobility Partners.
Design revenues appear to be up around the region, with more work coming into the pipeline and more firms reporting that they are busier than this time last year.

applications, including transmission, new planning, research, environment, decommissioning and more, as utility operations become more diverse.
