The construction of Gate Apron B38 on Concourse C at Denver International Airport is the first project in Flatiron Constructors’ multiyear construction manager-general contractor (CM-GC) contract with DIA.
The $579.4 million price tag identified by the report is 6.49% above the contracted budget and within the projected range of the risk assessment, according to DIA officials.
Denver International Airport has selected a consortium—led by Ferrovial Airports International Ltd., Madrid, which also operates airports in Europe and the United Kingdom—to begin negotiating a public-private partnership to improve the airport’s Jeppesen Terminal.
