Residential construction showed stronger jobs increases than nonresidential categories.

The president-elect stated emphatically during campaign stops that “not one more foot” of wall will be built under his administration and federal land seizures will stop; efforts to end or curb temporary status programs also will reverse.

Industry's workforce remains at 294,000, or 3.8%, below February's pre-pandemic level.
