Clayco will build the 440-acre complex at a long-defunct steel plant site that will host the first utility-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer in the U.S., the developer says.
US Energy Dept. officials selected 20 projects to receive financial support under the Transmission Siting and Economic Development Grant Program created by the Inflation Reduction Act.
