The owner of Grand Central Terminal, Andrew Penson, is suing the city of New York for $1.1 billion, following the city’s green-lighting the construction of a 65-story tower nearby, called One Vanderbilt.

A solar farm proposed for Oneida in Madison County would be one of the largest in Upstate New York, covering ten acres of land. The city signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with Vermont-based company groSolar to build the solar farm, which will feature roughly 9,000 3 by 3 ft solar panels. The Dept. of Transportation issued a bid solicitation last month for additional repair work on the Brooklyn Bridge with no connection to the current major rehabilitation project.The $600 million dollar construction project currently underway is the first major repair to the bridge since 1958. After being delayed for decades due to the high cost, the bridge earned a “poor” condition rating by the state in 2007, and renovations began in 2010.The project has faced several obstacles since breaking ground.
