Industry members have until Oct 1 to submit entries to ENR Midwest's “Top 20 Under 40” competition, an annual program that honors the contributions of young design and construction professionals to their companies, their professions and their communities.


Designers and builders are encouraged to nominate their colleagues and peers for the competition or, alternatively, nominate themselves. The only hitch: Nominees must be under the age of 40 as of Jan. 1, 2014.


Also, nominees for Midwest's competition must be based in one of the following states: Ill., Ind., Iowa, Ky., Mich., Minn., Mo., Ohio, Wis.


Nominees will be judged by an independent panel comprised of industry professionals.
