July 14 is the final deadline for completing ENR Midwest's Top Specialty Contractors Survey, the basis for its annual ranking of the largest subcontracting firms in the region, including those located in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The survey ranks firms in accordance with the revenues they accrued in the previous calendar or fiscal year, in this case 2013. The resulting list will be published in the Sept. 22 edition of ENR Midwest.

In addition to highlighting the performance of individual firms, the listing provides a collective snapshot of regional activity while serving as a short list for selecting ENR Midwest's Specialty Contractor of the Year.

Firms are selected on the basis of their financial performance, as well as their execution of key projects in the region, with past honorees including ERMCO Inc., Baker Concrete Construction Co. and The Hill Group.
