It’s an industry must-read every year … and, best of all, an ideal way for AEC professionals like yourself to pay homage to your great, young colleagues who are making a difference in the world.
Our annual Top 20 Under 40 is published in the first ENR Midwest edition of the year, but the time to nominate a candidate for 2017 is right now. You can nominate someone from your company, or even yourself for that matter, but you can also nominate a deserving candidate from another firm. Likewise, you can nominate people who were previously submitted, as long as they are still eligible and have not been selected as a winner in previous years.
To be considered, candidates must be under 40 as of Jan. 1, 2017. Eligible nominees are judged on industry experience and education, industry leadership and community service.
For this program, the traditional ENR Midwest states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan are joined by Minnesota, Iowa and Kentucky. We would like nothing more than to have each state represented at least once in our 2017 Midwest Top 20 Under 40. The 10 women and 10 men selected in 2016 represented seven different states and organizations that range from major design houses in metropolitan cities to an engineering school at a downstate Illinois university.
And, a friendly reminder, colleagues in all other states as well as D.C. and Puerto Rico can be nominated in their respective regions. For the geographical breakdown and other Top 20 Under 40 details, including how to submit a nominee, check out the program page on our website.
There is neither entry fees nor a limit to how many entries are received from each firm. Deadline to submit is Sept. 30.
