General contractors participating in ENR California’s annual survey show no signs of slowing down. Cumulatively, the 89 participating firms tabulated more than $32.7 billion in revenue during 2015, an increase of almost 20% over 2014. This is on top of the gains seen during the multi-year construction boom in California. The top 10 firms posted more than $13 billion in revenue, and the #1 ranked company posted $1.85 billion – possibly the highest revenue total ever seen in California. Which firm? In addition to the ranking of the largest firms by revenue, we will also spotlight one of these firms as the Top Contractor of the Year. To be nominated for the award, the firm must have seen a rise in their revenue from the previous year’s ranking. In addition, the firm must have exhibited a commitment to innovation, sustainability, safety and dedication to the community in building a better California.
