ENR California is putting the finishing touches on its annual top construction firms lists for the region, which will be published in the August issue of the magazine. Contracting firms will be ranked based on 2022 revenues for work done within California and Hawaii.
Last year, regional contractors recorded flat to lower revenues due to a litany of issues that have beset the construction industry; supply-chain woes, tight labor market and fears of recession. Things seem to have brightened a bit in 2022.
The Top 20 firms responding thus far have reported a total revenue of $27.87 billion last year, an almost 6 percent increase over 2021 and restoring financial results to roughly the same level as 2020.
To date, almost 70 firms have completed the surveys for this year's ranking, reporting a combined regional construction revenue of more than $37.8 billion across California and Hawaii.
If your firm is not listed, there’s still time! The deadline to submit has been extended to Monday, June 12. Note: due to space limitations, it’s possible that not all firms that submit surveys will be included in the print ranking based on revenue totals.
