A new podcast series is recorded in New York and focuses on construction industry trends around the world.
"STO Building Conversations," produced by the STO Building Group—which comprises New York-based Structure Tone and Pavarini McGovern, as well as several firms around the U.S.—features interviews with design, construction and real estate professionals like Lorien Barlow, director of the film "Hard Hatted Woman"; design entrepreneur Aaron Schiller; and WELL Building Institute award winner Jennifer Taranto.
The company had long considered launching a podcast about the industry. And in late 2018, during early production stages of "Building Conversations," STO Chariman Jim Donaghy was invited to be a guest on wall protection product maker Wallprotex's podcast, "Conversations Around the Corner."
STO's series will be hosted by the firm's top construction veterans discussing the broader industry.
"Whether it's among our own experts or with our partners and clients, we're constantly working to find new and innovative ways to move our industry forward," CEO Bob Mullen said in a press release.
"We wanted to capture these discussions and the ideas that come from them, and this podcast is a perfect outlet for that," Mullen adds.
Episodes are available on STO's website and through distributors Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Podbean. Topics covered so far include sustainable building, building repositioning in New York City and trailblazing tradeswomen.
