Despite recently adopting a new name, RNGD Construction has a long history of building notable construction projects and participating in community initiatives. The New Orleans-based company, formerly known as Impetus, reported overall 2023 revenue rising to $261 million, with a 26% hike from $195 million in 2022 to $241 million last year within the Texas-Louisiana region.
Among key company projects spurring revenue growth are ones it completed recently. Last year, RNGD earned recognition in ENR Texas/Louisiana Regional Best Projects competition for its renovation of The Carrollton, which restored an antebellum courthouse into luxury apartments for seniors. It also completed H3C, an $80-million, 192-apartment complex for low-income residents featuring a clinic, pharmacy and behavioral health care center.
Additionally, RNGD has given millions to improve local community and others globally through Palmiano Foundation, its 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization.
For these projects and numerous others the firm started in 2024, ENR editors have chosen the company as 2024 ENR Texas/Louisiana Contractor of the Year. A profile of RNGD and its recent achievements will appear in the magazine's July 17 edition.
RNGD is in good company with other firms working regionally that report exceptional revenue growth over the past year, despite market challenges, which will be ranked in the ENR Texas/Louisiana list of Top Contractors, also in that issue.
