The next issue of ENR Southwest is nearing the punchlist phase.

 

At “customer handover,” we will have a presentation of the Top Specialty Contractors survey. Some of the participating firms are revealed here. Now, we are proud to announce the Specialty Contractor of the Year: Buesing Corp., of Phoenix.

 

Founded in 1986 in Phoenix, Buesing Corp. provides the following services: mass excavation, concrete and asphalt recycling, structural excavation and shoring, trucking, mass and site grading, shoring and earth retention, foundation drilling, soil import and export, aggregates, crushing and screening, as well as basements and below-grade garages.

 

They provide these services in a variety of sectors, including commercial, retail, industrial/warehouse, multi-family, residential, healthcare, hospitality, higher education, public works, flood control, heavy highway, solar/renewables. Although most of the work the firm provides is in Arizona, it also performs work in California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas.

 

Current notable projects include the Loop 202 - South Mountain Loop 202 Freeway, ASU Tech Center – I.D.E.A., Tempe and Mirabella Senior Living Tower Project, also in Tempe.

 

The firm is also active with Wespac and the McDowell Mountain Music Festival as well as more than a dozen other charities.
