ENR Southwest is busy finalizing the rankings for our annual top general contractors of 2020. The list is based on 2019 revenues for firms with permanent offices in Arizona, Nevada or New Mexico, as reported to us by the firms themselves. Early results show that revenues last year for general contractors were up in most parts of the region.

Here are the current top 25 firms in the Southwest, presented in random (not ranked) order. Note that this working list could change as our research progresses toward publication of the rankings in our June issue, and more firms complete their surveys before the final deadline of May 11:
JE Dunn Construction, Hensel Phelps, PCL Construction, McCarthy Building Cos., Sundt Construction Inc., Strike LLC, Graycor, Okland Corp., Holder Construction, hardison/downey, Mortenson, Fann Contracting Inc., Bradbury Stamm Construction Inc., Caliente Construction Inc., Martin-Harris Construction, Skanska USA, Chanen Construction Co. Inc., Kinney Construction Services Inc., The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., Ryan Cos. US Inc., Kiewit, DPR Construction, AECOM Hunt, CORE Construction Group, Kitchell Corp.

Again, the firms above are not presented in ranked order. These contractors are the most likely firms in the region—from those who have submitted their revenue totals—to make our final cut, but the list is not yet complete.
