Each year, ENR Southeast ranks the region’s largest projects to start construction during the previous calendar year. Different than our other survey-based rankings, such as Top Contractors, the Top Starts ranking is more research-based. And with the size of our Southeast region—which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Puerto Rico—it takes a considerable amount of research. In fact, we’ll continue adding to this list as long as we’re able to confirm the 2017 construction start—and overall value--of other Southeast projects.

The final Top Starts ranking will publish with the March 5 print edition of ENR Southeast. For now, we’re including here this preliminary, alphabetical list of 25 projects that are likely to be included in this year’s Top Starts ranking.
