The submission period for ENR Southeast’s Regional Best Projects competition is wrapping up, but as folks continue to compile project information and finalize submissions, we’re extending the deadline to make sure everyone has a chance to enter their projects.

Firms now have through Friday, July 7 to complete entries for the 2023 round of ENR Southeast's Regional Best Projects for work completed in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Puerto Rico. Projects must have been completed between May 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023, and there's no limit to the number of projects a firm can submit, though each project can only be considered in a single category.

Nearly 60 projects have been submitted to date in the Southeast and more than 30 submissions are still in the works. Those projects are vying for awards the title of best project in 18 different categories as well as our Excellence in Safety and Excellence in Sustainability categories, all of which will be celebrated at our annual Regional Best Projects event in the fall.

A panel of independent judges will grade projects and choose the winners before also deciding on nominees from among those winners to be considered for the Southeast Project of the Year, which in turn goes on to compete for the national ENR Project of the Year.

There’s still time to get your project in the running! Click here to submit your project by the official deadline of 11:59 p.m. ET July 7. If you have any questions, please reach out to Southeast Editor Derek Lacey at laceyd@enr.com
