Judging has wrapped up, and ENR Southeast is excited to announce its 2023 Regional Best Projects winners.
From 83 submissions, three panels of expert judges found 31 winners in 16 categories, all projects that shone in quality of work and overcoming challenges creatively and effectively, and for innovative ideas implemented on the job site. Of the winners, 16 earned Best Project honors and 15 projects were given Awards of Merit.
This year’s ENR Southeast judges included:
- Keith Douglas, executive vice president, Whiting-Turner Contracting Co.
- Dan Nawrocki, senior vice president, PC Construction
- Ray Riddle, vice president, Holder Construction
- Ron Whalen, vice president, Roger B Kennedy Construction
- Ron Osterloh, vice president and Georgia operations manager, Moffatt & Nichol
- Mike Dare, senior project manager, Robins & Morton
- Robbie Ferris, president/CEO, SFLA Architects
- Brandon Yezbick, vice president of Lean, Barton Malow

Judges did not vote in any categories in which their firms had an entry or they had any involvement with a project submitted.
Judges also named nominees for ENR Southeast Project of the Year, which will be announced when the 2023 ENR Southeast Best Projects are profiled in its Oct. 30 print edition.
Also, watch for previews of the big event, set for Friday, Nov. 10 in Orlando, where winners of ENR Southeast’s Legacy Award, Specialty Contractor of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Owner of the Year, and Design Firm of the Year also will be celebrated.
