Here, ENR Southeast previews the 20 up-and-coming industry leaders who will be recognized as part of the publication's annual Top 20 Under 40 program in January.
ENR editors have voted to recognize Pat Rodgers, of Rodgers Builders, and Tom Murphy Jr., of Coastal Construction, as this year's recipients of the Legacy Award.
It's now October 2014, and the end of the year is fast approaching. So, let's take a look at how the Southeast states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina have fared so far in terms of new construction contracts.
The Atlanta Braves, continuing their march to a new stadium at a rapid pace, held a ceremonial groundbreaking event for their new, $670-million ballpark on Sept. 16, at the Cobb County site.
The two contenders for this year's "Southeast Project of the Year"—the top recognition for ENR Southeast's Best Projects contest—couldn't be more different. In essence, each is exceptional in its own way.
This year's judges recognized 44 projects for outstanding construction and design. We're certainly happy to be able to recognize these "Best Projects," of course. But another award that we take special pride in presenting is our annual Excellence in Safety Award.
It's hard to believe, but it's time once again to announce the winners of this year's Best Projects contest. This is the 14th year for ENR Southeast's annual project excellence program, and once again our judges have spoken, and determined which projects represent the "best" construction and design achievements of the past year for the Southeast region.
