ENR Mountain States is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Best Projects competition across a seven-state region that includes Utah, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and the Dakotas. A panel of judges from all areas of the industry reviewed more than 100 entries in 20 different categories, examining factors such as innovation, design, teamwork, craft quality, safety and community or industry benefit. Judges could select a Best Project and an Award of Merit if warranted.

Two judges selected the most sustainable projects in the region:

Our judges have also chosen several finalists for the ENR Mountain States Project of the Year. One project in each area (Intermountain and Colorado/Wyoming/Dakotas) will win the top honor and the winners will be announced at the regional Best Projects events in December. We will preview safety and sustainability winners, along with the project of the year finalists in another blog leading up to the events. 

All winning project teams will be recognized in Salt Lake City at a breakfast event Dec. 10 at the Marriott Downtown City Creek and in Denver at a breakfast event Dec. 13 at the Embassy Suites Downtown Convention Center hotel.

At each event we will also recognize the ENR Mountain States Legacy Award winner, Owner of the Year, Design Firm of the Year, Contractor of the Year and Specialty Contractor of the Year in their respective area. Congratulations to this year's Best Projects winners!
