Completed in just 27 months, this $456-million effort has doubled Baird Center’s size to 1.3 million sq ft, improving the multipurpose facility’s ability to host events of all kinds.

The new Franklin County Corrections Center, situated on a 24-acre site, features 529,000 sq ft with the infrastructure and support space needed to house 2,800 beds.

The 205,000-sq-ft mixed-use life sciences building located in the heart of Union Square features lab-ready infrastructure and flexible and efficient floor plans.

Serving as a gateway to the campus, the 62,000-sq-ft, $46.8-million Maple Hall is designed around a three-story atrium.

The project, built on the site of the previous assembly building, has contemporary spaces that conserve the original facade.

About 90% of work under the contracts is expected to be done in California through June 2029.

Construction began this month and is set for completion in 2027. 

The plans call for improvements to fan-facing areas as well as infrastructure work.
