The Red Rock Legacy Trail is designed to be built in phases, with the first phase extending five miles from residential neighborhoods at the north end of the trail.

For the past several years, the main attractions for construction buffs in Orlando have been at the airport itself. 

The lanes use a row of parking to separate bicycle and vehicle traffic.
