As more people move to the Orlando area, and as local tourist attractions see continued success, local firms are working to keep up.

Greater Orlando Aviation Authority opened its $2.8-billion Terminal C at CMO last year and is now planning to enlarge it. 

The new three-level, 732,895-sq-ft South Terminal at increased the area’s capacity by more than 10 million passengers, helping support both the region’s critical tourism industry and long-term economic growth.

For the past several years, the main attractions for construction buffs in Orlando have been at the airport itself.
