Boeing is planning a $1.8-billion advanced aerospace manufacturing facility at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

Designing the 323,000-sq-ft building to efficiently serve the hospital's program was one of the project's big challenges, says the design team.

The facility is planned as the anchor for the Missouri University of Science and Technology's future manufacturing technology and innovation campus. 

Trying to keep projects moving during a viral pandemic and partial construction freeze is no small task, and project teams are finding new ways to keep things on schedule when site visits and office meetings are no longer viable.
