Navigating noise issues, congestion and even the religious concerns of three Jewish congregations in the area, construction crews are performing surgery on a major artery in metro Atlanta in the second-largest project ever for the Georgia Dept. of Transportation (GDOT).

Along with so many other changes in the industry this year, the 55th annual ENR Award of Excellence celebration, which honors construction industry achievement, will be a series of virtual events taking place the week of Aug. 3.
