Twenty young professionals under 40 will be recognized next year, as the region expands in 2025 to include 13 states.

Design firms saw their revenue grow in 2021 but supply chain uncertainty and inflation loom even as demand for design services remains strong.

Motor City Electric is focused on the design, construction and maintenance of industrial electrical systems, and the firm’s continued business in several specialty sectors have allowed it to grow into one of the largest electrical contractors in the nation. 

Many of the Midwest’s top specialty contractors performed better than expected despite the ongoing pandemic. The group as a whole reported regional revenue of  $5.48 billion in 2020.
