Ten acres of previously vacant industrial property has been transformed into open green space, a public plaza and 1,400 linear ft of waterfront promenade as part of this $51.9-million project.

Washington received $97.7 million in RAISE grants for seven projects. Three projects each from Oregon and Alaska were also chosen for the program.

A total of eight California projects received $119.6 million in grants from the federal RAISE program. Two Hawaii projects received $49.8 million in funds.
