With a treatment capacity of 150 million gallons per day, the Draper Water Treatment Plant is the largest such facility in the state of Oklahoma and has a more drought-resistant supply than the city’s other water treatment plant.
The 12 alluvial wells that supply the South Adams County Water and Sanitation District’s 66,000 customers produce severely hard water, requiring local homeowners to frequently replace plumbing and water heaters and purchase costly in-home softeners that release corrosive brine waste into the sewer.
The Clifton Water District was formed in the early 1950s to serve the growing community in and around the east end of the Grand Valley in western Colorado.
The May 30/June 4 edition of ENR California will feature the top-ranked design firms based on 2015 revenue. Many firms continued to reap large year-over-year revenue gains due to California’s red-hot construction market. One of the firms appearing in the ranking is chosen as Design Firm of the Year.
