The Slover Library project included restoration of the 115-year-old Seaboard building, a new seven-story, glass-walled addition and the renovation of the Seldon Arcade commercial building.
Two stories of underutilized exhibit space were converted into a new 1,200-seat performance venue with a proscenium stage, fly gallery, orchestra pit and balcony seating.
The 100-year-old Capitol Theatre closed for a five-month renovation to double the size of its lobby, refurbish every theater seat and improve performance preparation areas in the basement, along with upgrading the mechanical and electrical systems.
