This year, seven major new-
construction fires at four- to six-story wood-framed residential sites caused property loss exceeding $400
million, says the National Fire Protection Association.
Key projects include the $1-billion Salesforce Tower, USC Village student housing and mixed-use development and the 1 million-sq-ft Cove at Oyster Point.
