Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk recently announced plans to spend approximately $1.2 billion to build a new production facility in Odense, Denmark.
Viby’s new library and cultural center was designed “to feel like a living room” for the small Danish town about 40 km west of Copenhagen, according to its architect.
This renovation of the vaccine maker’s Kvistgård plant added on-site aseptic fill-and-finish capabilities, allowing the company to stop outsourcing that portion of the manufacturing process.
