Following an aggressive five-month schedule, Cianbro Corp. is putting the finishing touches on a 9.9-MW solar energy facility, which began producing power last month.

Pittsfield, Maine-based Cianbro Corp. recently began structural repair and restoration work on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

Maine industrial contractor, Cianbro, has opened a new workforce development center in remodeled space at a former technology center in Pittsfield to address the skilled worker shortage, the company announced on August 17.
