Located within the Olympic center's confines, the Vila Autódromo community, which has about 900 families, will be relocated next year to Estrada dos Bandeirantes, one kilometer from the site. Rio Mais' contract with the prefecture includes design and construction of the relocation community.

At the jobsite, nearly 400 people are employed on-site at present. During peak construction next year, the workforce will swell to 2,000. Construction is scheduled for a 2015 completion, one year before the Olympic Games start.

During the competition, organizers predict daily attendance to reach 120,000 at Olympic Park, located in Rio’s western region.
