COLORADO The City of Evans is planning to build a new combined wastewater treatment facility to treat combined flows from two separate collection basins within the service area. The new treatment complex will be located at the current Hill-n-Park plant site at the intersection of 49th Street and 35th Avenue  and will treat up to four million gallons a day. GEORGIA Vest Monroe LLC is planning to renovate Walton Behavioral Hospital in Monroe. MINNESOTA The University of Minnesota is planning to build an athletes village on the Minneapolis campus. Totaling 340,000 sq ft, the four new buildings will include a football performance center, a football practice facility and a basketball development center. NEW JERSEY Gillette Enterprises is planning to build Gillette Towers, a senior housing facility at the intersection of Main Street and Kennedy Drive in Sayreville. The two four-story buildings will contain 136 one-bedroom units, libraries, exercise rooms and community buildings. Robert W. Adler & Associates is the designer. The owner will serve as the general contractor. WASHINGTON Washington State  Ferries is planning to build a new multimodal terminal at Colman Dock in  Seattle. The project entails constructing a reconfigured concrete-steel trestle, replacing the timber-trestle portion of the dock; a 22,000-sq-ft main terminal building; a 3,000-sq-ft staff building; a 9,000-sq-ft entry building, connecting to the Marion Street pedestrian overpass; and a Slip 3 vehicle transfer span and  overhead loading structures. ARIZONA DPR Construction Inc. has started constructing the SkySong IV office building at the former Los Arcos Mall site at McDowell and Scottsdale roads in Scotts­dale. The four-story, 150,063-sq-ft building will be part of a high-tech office park developed by Arizona State University, the city of Scottsdale and the Plaza Cos. Butler Design Group is the designer. IOWA Ag Processing Inc. has started  construction to expand its vegetable-oil  refinery, located near the City of Sergeant Bluff. The new refinery will include oil filtration, degumming, bleaching and deodorizing processes as well as a new water-cooling tower and well system. OHIO Siemens has started building a gas-fired, 800-MW powerplant on a 57-acre site at 1107 Salt Springs Rd. in Warren. INDIANA 11/12 Purdue University is seeking bidders to carry out the second phase of the Zucrow High-Pressure  Research Lab Test Cell/Control  Center project on its campus in West Lafayette. The job involves building five new test cells, renovating the laser room, adding 9,600 sq ft and constructing a new parking lot. The project’s value has been estimated at between $2 million and  $10 million. MAINE 11/16 The Naval Facilities  Engineering Command is seeking bidders for a substation modification project at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Center in Cutler. The project entails  installing a 6.7-mile-long, 34.5-kV subsea power-transmission and fiber-optic cable system between the utility-owned substation near Howard Cove and the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic very-low- frequency powerplant. Horizonal directional drilling will be used to make the landfall transitions for the cable on each side of Machias Bay. The project is valued at up to $40 million.
