In the Puget Sound area, Krivenko says residential and hospitality are poised for a surge. “For the most part, Seattle’s cycle features a variety of apartment projects, which outnumber condominium ones. Further, there will be more hotels coming online over the next two years.” According to a recent Downtown Seattle Association and Metropolitan Improvement District report, as of June 2016, office space is rebounding to the tune of nearly 3 million sq ft, with an additional 6 million sq ft of office space under construction.
