The Korte Co. has begun work on an 800,000-sq-ft U.S. Postal service distribution facility and a 30,000-sq-ft vehicle maintenance facility in Portland. The project has been valued at more than $92 million. The design-build project will include a one-story precast concrete building. The Port of Morrow is acting as the general contractor for a project that will construct additional water treatment capacity. The $35-million, design-bid-build project includes three buildings, four pump stations and 41 pond pump stations, with panels and electrical in place for five pumps with a maximum 1,300 HP. Bosa Development Washington Inc. and the city of Seattle have entered into a development agreement for the long-ruminated Seattle Civic Square project. The agreement outlines preliminary plans for the $400-million design-bid-build project, which would include a residential tower, retail space and a public plaza.
