Situated on a 50-acre site, this two-story facility features a 137,000-sq-ft business center and a 100,000-sq-ft advanced manufacturing space. Extensive value engineering ensured the project stayed within budget while preserving key elements of VEGA’s vision, resulting in a transformative space that meets both current needs and future growth.

Inspired by VEGA’s European headquarters in Germany’s Black Forest, the North American headquarters is designed with ample windows, promoting a connection with nature and maximizing natural light in both the office and manufacturing areas.

An accelerated 18-month schedule managed with flow scheduling helped ensure early completion in September 2022. The office and manufacturing buildings were split into flow areas, enabling structured sequential progress for trade contractors. The project team completed the office building first, allowing the client to move in on June 1, 2022. The manufacturing facility followed eight weeks later, with precast walls in place to minimize disruption.

To cope with the impact of supply chain delays, the contractor implemented several mitigation strategies. When roofing materials were delayed, the team used temporary roofing materials to safeguard interiors.
