The $3.9-million phased office space fit-out seamlessly integrates new additions with the existing first phase. To minimize disruption to the already occupied first floor, the team scheduled construction activities to minimally interfere with Supernal’s day-to-day activities. To mitigate noise and disruptions, temporary walls isolated construction areas. But the team still had to ensure finishes were integrated with the existing space.

The audiovisual contractor and the millwork subcontractor collaborated on extensive AV installations, including the curved video walls and serpentine audiovisual walls. This involved overcoming initial drawing discrepancies through onsite adjustments. A delayed critical light fixture affected scheduling for a specialty drywall ceiling installation. The team prioritized other tasks to maintain progress, and the fixture was installed in four months, at budget and on schedule.
Design features, particularly the curved video and serpentine audiovisual walls, were pivotal to the project’s success, the team says.
