The college-preparatory school expansion includes a wellness center and dorm, faculty apartments and communal amenities. The primarily load-bearing wood building with selective use of structural steel and non-combustible elements for enhanced safety and support includes a durable standing seam metal roof and a brick facade that complements the school’s aesthetic.

Curtain wall systems at the central entrance and each wing ensure ample natural light. The project includes parking, sidewalks, emergency access roads, site lighting, benches and landscaped surroundings. Installing fiber optic cabling across campus—necessary to maintain connectivity for the fire alarm system and VOIP services—involved verifying undocumented existing cabling.

The team conducted a two-week audit to identify every fiber cable from the administration building to the splice location and reconnected each fiber without disrupting services. The final cut-over to the new fiber system was executed during a two-week period, with one building transitioned per day to minimize downtime and ensure that occupied buildings remained protected. The project was completed on budget and on schedule in 19 months.
