Encompassing two dormitories with apartment-like suites, the project is designed to encourage on-campus residency of seniors as it seamlessly integrates features of independent apartment living with communal dormitories.
The project accommodates approximately 350 students in two-, three- and four-bedroom options, each equipped with its own bathroom.
The mass timber project has all-electric systems and relies on renewable power sources to move the university toward its goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. Design and construction techniques minimize environmental impact and maximize resource efficiency.

Designed to LEED Gold certification, the project includes renewable resource construction materials and onsite stormwater treatment systems.
Stormwater management incorporates bioswales and biofiltration basins—enhancing onsite water treatment and promoting ecological resilience. The project team says these measures benefit the university by reducing operational costs, improving occupant comfort and contributing to the broader community by mitigating environmental impact and promoting sustainable development practices.
