In building this new Dallas headquarters for AMN Healthcare, Rogers-O’Brien Construction completed its work ahead of schedule, in just seven months. The project covered Levels 4 through 6 of an existing office building and comprised 92,420 sf ft of finished office space. One main challenge was the three-level staircase that transcends through all the floors of the project site. This required removal of exterior glazing and exact placement of large structural elements.
Working within an already occupied building posed another challenge, which the team overcame by strictly adhering to a noise requirement. The Rogers-O’Brien-led team utilized safety action plans on this project. Specifically, the contractor used a digitized safety and quality program that uses Procore technology that enabled the contractor, trade partners and the project owner to access a digital hub that could assign responsibilities and enhance communication among the team.
With overall worker hours reaching nearly 300,000, the contractor reported a zero recordable incident rate and no lost-time accidents.
